01 / CONTROL TEAM

Certified Instructors

Software alone doesn't run a 300-person summit—our certified instructors do. To safeguard the learning experience, even our baseline certification requires instructors to non-invasively guide failing companies back to profitability, ensuring no team is dragged down by compounding debt. The team is structured across three tiers, with academic and floor-management standards scaling rigorously at each level.

Do you need to supply your own facilitator?

By default, no. From early organisational support to on-site system control, our certified academic team takes over completely. You just need to bring the participants. If you want to run sessions yourself long term — in-house L&D trainers, faculty, or student leads — we open the training and certification track, but it is entirely optional.

Academic Instructor

Promotion

Authorized to run Lite editions independently and co-pilot Standard editions. Requires passing rigorous theoretical and practical exams.

Hard Requirements

  • Practical exam: Survive an 18M emergency loan scenario
  • Theoretical exam (including participation grading during training)
  • Submit updated teaching materials mapped to economic and business concepts in the simulation
  • Complete 2 shadowing sessions
Scope of Practice

Independent control of Lite editions; co-piloting Standard editions; facilitating community events

Required Experience

Independently host 20–120 player continuous simulations

Universal Rules

Prerequisite for independent control
Must complete 2 shadowing sessions for a specific edition before earning independent control rights.
The practical exam
Solo-manage four companies on the Standard Edition and turn retained earnings positive within two simulated months.
The theoretical exam
Participation and contribution during training are graded—low engagement results in failure, even if practicals are passed.
Disciplinary action
Operational errors leading to complaints lower scheduling priority. Unprofessional public conduct results in demotion or revocation.

A / Run an event

No syllabus to answer to — just run one

Year-group events and student societies, entrepreneurship tasters, younger camps. Nothing here has to reconcile against a syllabus; the value is in what participants went through and what they still remember afterwards.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS

Cooperation that shows up on the balance sheet

The hard part is never doing the arithmetic faster than everyone else. It is seeing which moves only work if someone else moves too — in a room where everyone is protecting their own margin. All three of these happen in every session.

01

Finding the non-zero-sum move

On one supply chain, the raw-material firm wants to raise prices and the retailer wants to push them down; the manufacturer in the middle is squeezed from both sides. If all three defend their own segment, volume falls and nobody's numbers look good. Coordinate on price and grow the total instead, and the pie itself gets bigger — which is a calculation the system will actually run for you, not a slogan. Most teams have to lose a round before they will sit down and talk.

02

Leaving yourself a way out

Supply will fail upstream. Two ways out: buy on the spot market — fast, but the cost sits on your margin for the rest of the game; or send someone to negotiate a new supplier — two more days idle and bleeding, then a cost base lower than before the disruption. Both work. What separates teams is what they did before it happened: whether a backup supplier existed, and whether the cash on hand covers the days you cannot produce.

03

Learning who you can turn your back on

Four people hold sales, channel, operations and finance. One person signs a deal and the other three live with it immediately. Someone quotes a price without telling the team; someone agrees to a volume they cannot make; someone holds their end together on the worst day. After two days everyone knows who is reliable and who only sounds reliable — and that judgement does not develop in a classroom.

None of this is scripted by us. These situations emerge on their own, every time, from a three-tier supply chain, live demand and a real P&L interacting with each other.

02 / ACADEMIC SYSTEM

Academic depth, and what carries over

We don't just claim educational value; we map directly to your curriculum. Our simulation is rigorously cross-referenced with Cambridge 9609 and IB Business Management syllabi. We provide transparent, objective-level mapping so you know exactly which competencies participants are exercising—particularly in evaluation and computation, where a live simulation truly excels.

Corporate and innovation-park programmes are not measured against a syllabus. They are measured by what survives the walk back to the desk. We asked that question directly in two sessions run for adult participants: of 55 responses, 39 said they took away more than from a conventional course — the numbers and their own words are here.

Pedagogy, mapped against two international syllabuses

The FE five-stage pedagogy, plus a subtopic-level mapping against Cambridge 9609 and IB Business Management — done by hand, and traceable line by line.

Stage 1: Initiation

Understanding how a company runs, and how it survives a market

Team objective: Ask for help inside your own team, get the supply chain moving, and work out why companies grow or die.

03 / QUALITY CONTROL

NPS & Quality Assurance

True reputation comes from verifiable data. We use transparent, publicly benchmarked NPS and satisfaction metrics to guarantee delivery quality at scale.

CORE QUALITY METRIC Primary benchmark for delivery quality

"How likely are you to recommend this simulation to a peer?"

We discard subjective, multi-dimensional feedback forms. Our quality control is anchored strictly to Net Promoter Score (NPS) and a 5-point satisfaction scale. True delivery quality is measured by willingness to stake personal reputation.

Statistical Rigor

  • 01. Collected on-site immediately upon completion; 70%+ response rate.
  • 02. Non-responses are automatically scored as Passive. Zero cherry-picking.
